About Block C

It started with a few friends hanging out looking at the usual spots on the web to find some new merch before football season. We were all looking around at the big online retailers and each one of us came away with the same conclusion- what we were seeing was the same old recycled designs lacking originality, or anything that stood out that made us eager to buy. I half jokingly mentioned "I bet I could come up with something way more original that people would actually be enthusiastic about buying." After chewing on the idea for a few months and putting together some proofs, I went with my gut and rolled the dice. Thus, Block C Apparel was born. 

What makes our brand different than others? For starters, we keep it all in house. All of our designs are developed internally, we only source from the best suppliers to ensure quality, all of our products are printed or stitched locally, and we ship directly from our HQ. We also make sure to scale at a sustainable pace to get your gear to you as quick as possible. Finally, we don't blow up your inbox with spam emails or include obnoxious pop ups on our site trying to get you to subscribe to our emails. 

We're a small shop, but we know we've got products that sell and a loyal base of customers that's growing each day. It's been a fun journey so far and we're beyond excited to see where this journey takes us!

Our Founder

Meet Pat Sturgis, the founder and owner of Block C Apparel. Pat wears a lot of hats (literally and figuratively) at Block C. Originally from the upstate of South Carolina, he's a proud graduate of Clemson University that currently resides in Charleston, SC. When he's not scheming up the next drop, there's a good chance you'll find him out on the water listening to the classics from the Grateful Dead, watching his alma mater play in Death Valley, or taking his Boykin Spaniel over to the local dog park!
